As i see it there are Three types of Baptisms in the NT
1 Water baptism= literal water; although some scholars have linked water baptism symbolically to death and resurrection (going under the water and rising out of the water)
2 Baptism of Death = Death on the cross (burial and resurrection )
MARK 10:38 You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said. “Can you drink the cup I drink or be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with?
LUKE 12:50 “But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished!
Rom 6:3 Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into union with the Messiah Jesus were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

3 Baptism of the Holy spirit=1Co 12:13 For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body–Jews or Greeks, slaves or free–and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
Eph 4:3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Eph 4:4 There is one body and one Spirit–just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call–
Eph 4:5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
