I agree with Rivers!!! I use to debate the Full Preterist position years ago on the radio and debates…..I debated Pastor Gene Cook(in the Good old days) I would love to debate any one on the topic of the Ten Tribes and where they went and who they are! I am a Full Preterist but as Preterist we stay away from the topic, who the Ten Tribes where!!! Did they move into Greece,Asia Minor, and did some tribes stay on the other side of the Eurphartes? Why did the Apostles go to the Barbarians ans scythians, who i believe were part of the 12 Tribes.. Why did Jesus go to Gallia which was full of Celtics? Why did the Apostles go to Galatians which really means(Gaulatians, which is a Celtic colony) Jesus did not come in general to Judah,Benjamin, etc,he came for the 12 tribes…..The book of James is written to those tribes of Israel! Why was this bold like warrior “culture Tribes” Scythians and Barbarians grafted in Christ? This is the area where the 12 tribes where. As a matter of fact the 12 where scattered all over Asia Minor and Europe….Where did the Apostles go? I would love to talk or debate this issue….Timothy Wallace.

With all due respect to Rivers (and I agree with much of His Preterist perceptive of the Hebrew Scriptures) no matter how he wants to present it – he has God IGNORING all of humanity from the beginning EXCEPT for one single ancient middle eastern nation. This would mean that God has been IGNORING all of His creation/humanity since the first century AD. What would even be the POINT of its continuation?? I suspect that he is not stating this outright because the reality of it is UNIMAGINABLE – its too hard to come right out and say, “GOD CARES NOTHING FOR ANYONE”

In between nearly every lines of what Rivers is teaching is this – “GOD EXISTS ONLY FOR ANCIENT ISRAEL – HE IS STILL OUT THERE SOMEWHERE – BUT THAT DOES NOT CONCERN ANYONE ON EARTH ANYMORE – HE IS OFF SOMEWHERE IN THE INVISIBLE REALM FELLOWSHIPPING WITH THE ANCIENT ISRAELITES AND THERE IS NO HOPE FOR YOU OR ME – AND ITS TIME WE FACED THE FACTS.”

But I have not heard this stated clearly or seen this in writing from Rivers- and I would seriously appreciate if he stated it and posted it for all to hear and see. If its TRUE – why not come out with it already? If he HAS done so in the past- it would be good to do it on this show for the record.

If he is concerned about damaging seekers – he can simply follow it with a statement like, “This is only MY TAKE of FP – and a minority view – but I want to be honest about it and allow others to draw their own conclusions.” THAT would be honest.

Thank you.

At 5:00 left in the Podcast Rivers says that we today “have to WORSHIP GOD by keeping His Word in context.” – WHAT?! Why in the world would anyone living today be concerned about WORSHIPING a God who cares nothing for them? Rivers himself told me (in writing) that God never loved anyone besides ancient Israel…”Frank, why would WE expect God to BE CONCERNED about the descendants of people (me and you) with whom He had no covenant obligation? Why would God LOVE non-Abrahamic people (me and you) more than even the non-elect descendants of Abraham who was His friend?”

Can we expect R.O.E. to publish a SUMMARY STATEMENT of the natural conclusions of his FP view on his own FB page and on the popular Preterist FB pages and blogs?

I am not picking a fight here (who needs that garbage??) – I am only asking ROE to be honest and courageous. A
s a matter of fact – I agree with MUCH of what R.O.E. teaches and he seems like a very genuine and affable guy. I just don’t respect “preaching around the bush” and I hope he won’t refuse to publish the CONCLUSIONS of his findings.

At 3:00 left in the Podcast ML says, “We have R.O.E. here to help us get to some more HONEST answers.” I couldn’t agree more.

Rivers – I am begging you to BE HONEST with us all and CLEARLY STATE the logical conclusions of your FP view concerning God’s lack of concern with all of humanity except for ancient Israel.

If I am somehow misunderstanding your take on FP please forgive me and help me to better understand your view.
