I think Michael (Grace) is missing the definition of “subjective.” I know that 2 plus 2 equals 4. That is not subjective. That is objective. If I see that I am a helpless sinner who needs salvation from Jesus Christ, that is objective truth. The Bible teaches objective truth. If I believe it (by God’s grace), it is still objective.

Subjective is feeling like eating pork versus beef. This is a very engaging discussion. I love it when truth wins. We all win.

I agree, Peter, excellent point. Too often, belief has been placed in the subjective realm, because we constantly qualify it by using verbiage like “She has genuine faith” or “He really believed”. In my view, once we subjectify faith, it becomes meaningless. And when we attach behavior as proof of our eternal destiny, in the place of faith, we can never recover. Why has faith been trivialized? Thanks again, Peter.
